  • “I don’t have enough wonderful things to share about this school and staff. Michelle is incredibly gifted at working with kids and training her staff. We came from a big name daycare and felt our well behaved, more quiet kid wasn’t getting the attention and safety she needed due to the large number of kids and strain on teachers. We never felt that way at United Hearts. I always felt confident that our kid was met with warmth, her interests in art and creativity were further nurtured and celebrated, and that teachers were creating a wonderful environment that actually teaches problem solving and kindness. It is clear they are learning so much— letters and math as they get older, but also the more important lessons on how to treat the earth and each other. After 2 years here, we are both sad to leave and so confident for kindergarten readiness (both socioemotional and academic skills). Some Spanish lessons, gardening, and access to the programming at Westside community center are all added benefits. Love that they accept UPK for 4 year olds as well. Thank you United Hearts ❤️❤️ “

  • “I started taking my 4.5 year there a few months ago. Prior to here he was attending a Montessori school and then nothing, he was going to a home school and he used to be really anxious and would not let me leave. The drop was hard for both us because of this and this has been at every school. After about a week and a half my son started going right in and playing. He seems less anxious, more calm and enjoys school. Drop off is only prolonged after he has been home with me for an extended period of time, but then he goes right in and plays. I love the open space, the variety of items to play and the play based curriculum. I love that they incorporate nature, the arts and music and they have space for boys to be boys and tumble around and move their bodies instead of expecting them to sit for long periods of time. They promote independence and encourage team work. I really like this preschool. The staff is amazing, friendly, kind and they do whatever they can to help their parents and students.”

  • “United Hearts is absolutely amazing! I honestly can't decide where to begin, there are so many positive things to say.

First, as any parent in this city knows, finding consistent, safe, and affordable childcare is like finding a unicorn. Well, the minute my kids were old enough for United Hearts, this was the place for them.

Our two girls can't wait to run through the door every morning, and sometimes even cry when they have to leave! They come home asking to practice their letters and write their names, and the art they have created is astounding for their age.

The nature, music, and art-based approach is perfect for getting kids outside, becoming comfortable in their bodies, learning to be creative, and so much more. They also have the kindest teachers, and it's incredible to walk in to a dozen or more kids just playing calmly and finding the things that make them excited and happy that day.

We love everything about United Hearts!”
